Senior External Reporting Manager

Lead external reporting and accounting policy for an energy and clean power generation company in the Greater Toronto Area. CPA designation and IFRS or US GAAP expertise are essential.

This Senior Manager role oversees annual and quarterly filings, financial statements, MD&A, and disclosure requirements. You will produce press releases, Annual Information Forms, and information for external bodies. The position also supports corporate reporting, group-level financial close, and complex accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual and quarterly financial statements and MD&A
• Produce press releases, AIFs, and external reporting information
• Review subsidiaries’ financial statements and MD&A
• Resolve complex issues with external auditors
• Lead disclosure controls supporting annual and quarterly certification

Requirements:

• CPA accounting designation
• Strong IFRS or US GAAP public company reporting experience
• Seven-plus years in audits and external reporting processes
• Three-plus years in public accounting firm audits
• Current Greater Toronto Area residence and Canadian work authorization
