Senior Finance Manager Assistant Controller

Lead financial reporting and full cycle accounting as a Senior Finance Manager / Assistant Controller in a manufacturing business. Manage budgets, forecasts, and audits.

This newly created Senior Finance Manager / Assistant Controller role strengthens the business’s finance team. The position covers reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and full cycle accounting. It also serves as the primary liaison with external auditors while supporting compliance, cash management, and month-end activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely financial reports, budgets, monthly statements, and tax returns
• Manage cash flow, banking, foreign currency transactions, and lender relationships
• Oversee internal controls, accounts payable, receivables, and supplier payments
• Coordinate audits and prepare year-end audit schedules
• Review statutory remittances, payroll, benefits, and financial statements

Requirements:

• Hold or actively pursue a CPA designation
• Demonstrate financial reporting and full cycle accounting experience
• Bring month-end, audit process, and compliance management experience
• Manufacturing environment experience is a strong asset
• Be a continuous learner and quick study
