Senior Finance Optimisation Analyst

In this role you lead complex finance reporting, automation, and process improvements across key systems (Workday, Alteryx, DUCO, Sigma and Anaplan). You work with finance and tech teams to turn ambiguous problems into reliable, scalable solutions while strengthening controls. You operate independently, guide colleagues, and champion continuous improvement. Your work supports efficient reporting, data quality and governance within the finance function and broader organization.

• Design and improve finance reporting, automation and optimisation across Workday, Sigma, Alteryx, DUCO and Anaplan
• Develop advanced reports, workflows, enhancements and reconciliation rules to boost efficiency and data quality
• Evaluate practical AI opportunities for reporting and automation within governance
• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and shape solutions for complex problems
• Coordinate testing, upgrades, change delivery, and manage risks to embed solutions into BAU
• Act as a technical go-to person, set standards and review work
• Maintain oversight of Finance Improvement Tracker items, priorities and stakeholder coordination

• Strong understanding of accounting and Finance reporting (UK GAAP and US GAAP)
• Advanced Excel and practical knowledge of financial reporting, automation and optimisation
• Excellent analytical, detailed-oriented problem solving and control
• Ability to work independently with ownership and initiative
• Good judgement, adaptability and risk escalation skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; ability to guide colleagues and review solution quality
• Experience delivering complex finance reporting, automation or process improvement initiatives
• Experience gathering business requirements and partnering with stakeholders
