Senior Finance Systems Developer

In this role you will lead the administration, configuration, and ongoing optimization of Carta’s finance systems with a focus on NetSuite and Zuora. You will partner with Finance, AP/AR, IT, and regional stakeholders to deliver scalable, AI-enabled processes that improve accuracy and efficiency. You’ll drive system changes, data integrity, and onboarding of subsidiaries, while promoting proactive support and cross-functional collaboration. This position offers the chance to shape enterprise finance tooling at a global scale and across regions.

• Drive AI adoption and automation to transform accounting processes
• Design, implement, and maintain configurations for Finance Systems (NetSuite, Zuora, Stripe, Zip)
• Collaborate with finance, AP/AR, and IT to map processes, define reporting needs, and drive continuous improvement
• Manage user access, segregation of duties, and data/system security
• Lead change management and release processes for finance applications
• Provide training and frontline support to finance users with strong service orientation
• Monitor system usage, performance, and issue resolution
• Document policies, procedures, and guidelines for data integrity and system security
• Support onboarding of subsidiaries onto Suite Billing, Zuora Billing and related quote-to-cash systems
• Maintain knowledge of system functionality, integrations, and customization
• Coordinate with US teams to support regional deployments (Europe, Middle East, APAC)
• Offer advisory input on system efficiency and impact and act as internal system administrator

• 5+ years in Finance System administration and integrations
• Strong experience with NetSuite and Zuora
• Hands-on experience with roles, permissions, page layouts, custom objects, SuiteScripts, workflows, reports, and dashboards
• Proficiency in SQL, CSV imports, role definitions, analytics, JavaScript, and script scheduling
• Solid background in data analytics, reporting, and database management (SQL and NetSuite preferred)
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and financial reporting concepts
• Understanding of O2C and P2P processes and financial systems
• Experience in project management, system implementation, and integrations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders under pressure
• Preferred: NetSuite and/or Zuora certifications
