Senior Financial Analyst

Our Client: Leading technology-enabled services company

Please note that this role requires 2–3 days a week in the Toronto office.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare reconciliations, interest expense schedules, and variance analyses.
• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Contribute to global, multi-currency consolidations and validate submissions from regional controllership teams.
• Assist with corporate-level journal entries as part of the month-end close process.
• Review and document transactions to support compliance with accounting standards.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvements.
• Communicate effectively with cross-regional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• CPA designation recently achieved or within four months of completion.
• Ideally from a Big 4/6 accounting firm, with preference for candidates who have worked with technology clients.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail, motivated, and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Open to remaining in the SFA role for a couple of years before a potential move into management.
• Strong financial reporting experience outside the Firm may be considered if the candidate demonstrates reliability, coachability, and strong communication skills.
