Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is a stable, well-established financial services leader on Long Island looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst for its FP&A team. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to senior management and a strong opportunity to be mentored, build your skills and grow your career.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain multi-year financial models (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow) with multiple scenarios
• Prepare quarterly forecasts and track the key drivers behind results
• Run "what-if" and other ad hoc analyses to support strategic decisions
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis for senior management
• Perform variance analysis and cost allocations
• Support process improvements and finance system upgrades

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• 4–5+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on financial modeling
• Advanced Excel modeling skills; experience using automation or AI tools to work with data is a plus
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial statements
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle a lot of data accurately
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and take ownership xhqgsiq of your work
• Comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization
• Financial services experience preferred but not required
