Senior Financial Analyst Reporting

Advanced financial analysis and reporting define this Senior Financial Analyst role with CMHA HPE, supporting accurate decisions across programs and departments.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this senior position leads financial statements, forecasts, Ministry reporting, funding reconciliations, and complex financial models. It provides recommendations to managers and senior leadership while supporting compliance with accounting standards, funding agreements, and reporting requirements. The role also guides finance staff and supports audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and Ministry reporting
• Complete funding reconciliations and develop complex financial models
• Provide financial recommendations to managers and senior leadership
• Support planning initiatives, audits, and funding compliance activities
• Mentor finance staff and improve financial processes

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in accounting, finance, business, or related field
• Four years’ financial analysis, reporting, accounting, compliance, and budgeting experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data modeling
• Knowledge of Ontario healthcare reporting standards and Management Information System Guidelines
• Ability to meet government deadlines and apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
