Senior Financial Analyst Vancouver

Aston Carter’s client seeks a Senior Financial Analyst with five-plus years of financial analysis experience. The role supports financial management through reporting, reconciliation, payment application, and issue investigation. You will work with accounting teams, insurance carriers, vendors, and other external stakeholders while using Excel and Great Plains GL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly reports and upload them to carrier portals
• Manage subledger accounts, payments, and treasury activities
• Analyze premium, claims, trust accounts, and balance sheets
• Investigate finance system mismatches across GL, sales, AP, and banks
• Complete reconciliations, reporting, data extraction, and issue tracking

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Five-plus years of financial analysis experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, or similar systems
