Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Lead financial analysis and reconciliations as a Senior Staff Accountant in hybrid Concord, Ontario, using IFRS and general ledger expertise daily.

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, part of Spirax Group, seeks a Senior Staff Accountant with accounting principles knowledge. You will support month-end close, financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, costing, internal controls, and forecasting. The role also includes data governance and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely financial statements and appropriate general ledger entries
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve variances
• Analyze inventory costing and support standard cost changes
• Maintain G3 internal controls and assist audits
• Support overhead, headcount, and capital expenditure forecasts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent qualification preferred
• Accountant experience with strong accounting principles knowledge
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills
• Advanced Excel and large enterprise resource planning experience
