Overview

In this role you will lead embedded firmware work for CAN-based power distribution and vehicle control platforms, shaping architecture, standards, and test strategies. You will collaborate with hardware engineers and mentor the firmware team, driving reliable delivery and technical excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role in a growth-oriented R&D environment focused on CAN-powered systems.

Responsibilities
  • Architect and deliver embedded firmware for CAN-based power distribution and control units
  • Define coding standards, review processes and test strategies
  • Mentor and guide other firmware engineers
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to read schematics and integrate hardware with software
Key requirements
  • 8+ years of commercial embedded firmware development
  • Strong C/C++ experience on 32-bit microcontrollers
  • Experience with RTOS, interrupts, low-level drivers and communications protocols
  • Proficiency with SPI, I2C, UART and LIN
  • Ability to read schematics and work closely with hardware engineers
  • Experience mentoring or technically guiding other engineers
