Senior FIX Connectivity Specialist


A leading financial services firm is looking for a senior FIX Connectivity specialist to manage client onboarding, support and ongoing development of its electronic trading connectivity.


Experience Required



  • Strong background as a FIX protocol subject matter expert within trading or investment banking

  • Experience managing the full client onboarding life cycle, from initial contact through to live setup

  • Experience providing production support on electronic trading platforms

  • Strong problem solving skills, able to handle bespoke client requirements

  • Comfortable managing multiple onboardings and issues at once

  • Able to work autonomously as well as part of a wider team

  • Strong stakeholder management across internal teams, clients and vendors


Key Technical Skills



  • FIX Protocol, including certification, onboarding and message handling

  • Experience with FIX engine platforms

  • Python or Perl Scripting for automation

  • Unix/Linux environments

  • Knowledge of equity trading workflows

  • Agile and software development life cycle exposure
