Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer

Build production AI agents and automation as a Senior Forward-Deployed AI Engineer with Bell in a hybrid Canadian work arrangement. Apply Python, APIs, and enterprise integration skills.

Bell’s Technology Services Applied AI team embeds across the company to build, ship, and integrate AI solutions. You will scope business problems, select approaches across automation, classical ML, and GenAI, and deliver agentic workflows. The position includes mentoring an early-career engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead agentic software development builds within transformation squads
• Scope problems and select appropriate technical approaches
• Build production AI agents across enterprise platforms
• Recognize bespoke modeling needs and route them appropriately
• Mentor an early-career engineer throughout engagements

Requirements:

• Production experience building agentic applications and MCP servers
• Experience deploying AI systems on major cloud platforms
• Experience with pipelines, vector databases, and RAG architectures
• Strong Python, APIs, and enterprise integration foundation
• Five to ten years software engineering experience preferred
