Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

In this business-facing engineering role, you partner with users to turn friction into AI and data solutions that run in production. You’ll be part of a firm-wide AI transformation, embedding engineering with diverse business units to scale reusable capabilities. You own solutions from first conversation to live running, spanning data sourcing, curation, and delivery through our central MCP/aI stack. You’ll influence architecture, governance, and cross-functional delivery to impact multiple desks and firm-wide capabilities.

• Embed with the business by sitting with users across portfolios, analytics, trading, and operations to understand workflows and friction
• Partner with AI Enablement Partners to manage escalated demand beyond what citizen developers can deliver
• Design, build, and productionise complex AI solutions end-to-end, from prototype to live running
• Own architecture, security, scalability, and alignment with enterprise core stack
• Develop investment capability on Nexus and expand it firm-wide with validation, monitoring, and reproducibility
• Source data via APIs and enterprise systems, curate it into business-facing views, and expose through Accio and Nexus

• Four+ years in a technical, business-facing engineering role (forward deployed, solutions engineering, or equivalent)
• Strong Python and SQL with a track record of shipping production applications
• Production experience with LLMs (prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation, deployment at scale)
• Hands-on experience building agentic capability (MCP servers, tools, skills, or connectors)
• Experience building data pipelines from APIs and enterprise systems; modeling raw data into curated views
• Working knowledge of a major cloud (preferably Azure) with CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure as code
• Excellent stakeholder skills and ability to drive discovery with business users
• High agency, comfort with ambiguity, and focus on solving business problems
• Experience in regulated environments with governance and data-sensitivity considerations
