Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

In this role you will own and drive strategic AI solution deployments on Uniphore’s Agentic AI platform. You’ll lead architecture, prototyping and delivery for enterprise clients, guiding both customers and internal teams through complex AI projects. You’ll design end-to-end deployments, integrate new APIs, and extend platform capabilities while ensuring scalable, observable, and trustworthy agents. This is a hands-on, solution-focused position that blends engineering leadership with customer-facing expertise to accelerate enterprise AI with real impact.

• Lead technical solution design and implementation for large-scale Agentic and Knowledge AI deployments
• Serve as primary technical contact during development and post-deployment optimization
• Own end-to-end projects from integration design to agent workflows and full-stack delivery
• Customize platform components by integrating new APIs and building reusable tooling
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and customers to ensure solution success
• Provide feedback to Platform Engineering and Product on gaps and pain points
• Contribute to best practices and accelerate delivery via reusable assets, frameworks, and documentation
• Champion observability, monitoring, versioning and telemetry for auditable AI agents
• Stay current on RAG, LLM/SLM advancements, agentic tooling, vector DBs, retrieval optimization, multi-modal systems, and security/guardrails

• 6–10+ years in engineering with 2+ years in customer-facing or field roles
• Proven success deploying AI/ML or data-intensive apps in production
• Full-stack development skills (Python, Node.js/Go, React/Vue) and DevOps (Docker, K8s, CI/CD)
• Experience building data pipelines and integrating with enterprise systems (REST, Python, SQL, GraphQL, Webhooks)
• Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases (AstraDB, Pinecone, Weaviate), and RAG pipelines (LlamaIndex, Haystack)
• Knowledge of Agentic development platforms and enterprise agentic delivery is a plus
• Ability to translate ambiguous customer needs into actionable engineering plans
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and project ownership
• Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders
• Bachelor/Master/PhD in Computer Science or Data Science (per job listing)
