Senior Forward Deployed Java Engineer

This six-month, right-to-hire role supports Spread Products across financing and securitization. You will combine architecture, hands-on development, client collaboration, and technical delivery across trading, risk, and operations. Strong Java, Spring Boot, Python, and microservices skills are central.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather client requirements and define technical solutions
• Develop scalable Java, Spring Boot, and Python applications
• Integrate REST, gRPC, messaging, and enterprise applications
• Optimize Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MongoDB performance
• Own delivery from discovery through production deployment

Requirements:

• Eight-plus years of software engineering experience
• Strong Java 17+, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST/gRPC
• Production Python with FastAPI, Flask, Pandas, or NumPy
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Tekton, and Jenkins
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
