Senior Front-End Developer - UI/UX Focus

About the Role

Our client, a reputable recruitment consultancy, is seeking a talented Senior Front-End Developer with a strong focus on UI/UX to join an innovative digital agency. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy user-facing features using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into functional, responsive web pages.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance across various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to refine user interface elements and ensure adherence to design principles.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and design trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Demonstrable experience in UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue, Angular).
• Familiarity with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel) and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, suitable for a hybrid work environment.
• Previous experience in or recruiting for the Kimberley market is a plus.
