Senior Frontend Engineer

As a Front-End Developer at Version 1, you will translate requirements into robust, modern web interfaces and contribute to scalable front-end architecture. You’ll work with product, design, and engineering colleagues to ensure high-quality, secure, and performant code. You’ll enhance our shared component libraries and mentor junior teammates, shaping the frontend foundation across digital products. You’ll be encouraged to pursue upgrades and best practices in line with evolving security and technology trends. • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Develop web and mobile interfaces with reusable code and libraries
• Contribute to end-to-end architecture and design (functional and non-functional)
• Own the Frontend digital and software platform
• Follow Version 1’s Agile process
• Advocate best practices (TDD, code reviews, pair programming)
• Mentor junior team members
• Design flexible, configurable components
• Produce well-designed, testable, maintainable, secure code

• Extensive front-end experience with TypeScript and React
• Experience with Next.js/Angular/Vue.js beneficial
• React Native experience beneficial
• GraphQL with Apollo Client
• Unit testing with Jest
• CI experience (Docker)
• Agile environment experience
• Strong communication with clients and distributed teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Back-end experience with Java/Python advantageous
