Overview

In an AI-first frontend role, you shape the user interfaces that power AI-driven infrastructure tools. You’ll collaborate with ML engineers and product teams to deliver high-performance, accessible UI that translates complex AI outputs into intuitive experiences. You’ll own frontend architecture and drive end-to-end delivery, building 2D/3D visualisations for engineering data at scale. Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain rich UI using Svelte and React (TypeScript) to surface AI and engineering data
  • Collaborate with product managers, ML engineers, and backend engineers to ship high-impact frontend features end-to-end
  • Translate AI and engineering outputs into clear, interactive components with strong UX, performance, and accessibility
  • Own frontend architecture decisions including state management, component design, and design system development
  • Improve frontend architecture, performance, and bundle optimisation
  • Take ownership of frontend features from concept to deployment, guiding product direction and technical trade-offs
  • Build high-performance 2D and 3D web experiences for complex engineering visualisations
Key requirements
  • Hands-on experience building production applications with TypeScript (Svelte or React)
  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Deep understanding of modern frontend architecture, component design patterns, and state management
  • Strong web fundamentals: HTML, CSS, browser APIs, performance, accessibility
  • Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs and real-time data into frontend interfaces
  • Familiarity with frontend build tooling (Vite, SvelteKit, or similar) and testing frameworks
  • Collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to UX, performance, and accessibility
  • Ownership mentality and proactive problem-solving
