Senior Frontend Engineer (UK)

In this role you will build high-quality, scalable frontends for Pigment’s AI-powered platform. You’ll create engaging UI experiences and data visualizations while collaborating with backend engineers and product managers. You’ll shape and maintain a design system, tackle real-time data challenges, and contribute to modern, high-performance web applications. This is a hands-on, cross-functional opportunity to impact planning and performance tooling at scale.

• Build and maintain client-facing UIs with a focus on performance and quality
• Collaborate with backend engineers and product managers on feature design, API design, and data handling
• Implement AI-driven capabilities to support complex workflows
• Develop advanced data visualizations (charts, maps, dashboards) with real-time interactivity
• Contribute to and maintain the internal design system, including caching and state management
• Balance feature delivery with maintenance and performance optimization
• Identify and resolve issues to ensure continuous delivery and robust frontend solutions
• Engage in current projects around AI capabilities, data visualizations, design system evolution, and technology migration

• Strong software engineering experience on production systems
• Proven expertise in React and TypeScript
• Experience shaping API design and optimizing data consumption with backend teams
• Experience with design systems, performance optimization, and large datasets
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; proactive and growth-oriented
• Fluent in English; French not required
