Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer

Build cloud-based AI applications at Manulife in Toronto’s hybrid Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer position, using Python and React JS.

This senior role develops secure enterprise applications that integrate AI into business workflows. You will apply Generative AI, Large Language Models, retrieval-augmented generation, and API-driven engineering. The work supports easier decision-making and better outcomes through production-ready software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and integrate Generative AI features with governance practices
• Develop interfaces, APIs, backend services, and integration layers
• Apply LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and semantic search
• Support Azure cloud-native patterns and API-driven architectures
• Collaborate with product, security, risk, and business stakeholders

Requirements:

• Seven years of full-stack application design and development experience
• At least one year delivering AI-enabled applications
• Hands-on Generative AI, LLM, RAG, and responsible AI experience
• Strong Python and React JS development experience
• Experience with Azure, REST APIs, databases, CI/CD, and monitoring
