Job Description Senior Full Stack Developer, Lidar Systems Build software that helps advanced lidar sensing systems perform in the real world. Join a Teledyne team developing mission-critical software that powers lidar sensor operation, real-time data processing, and operator workflows. You’ll work across complex software and hardware environments, helping deliver reliable, high-performance systems used in remote sensing, mapping, and geospatial applications. What you’ll do
Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot applications supporting lidar sensor operations Build real-time and near-real-time data processing capabilities Design and enhance REST APIs and service integrations Contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions Deploy, integrate, and validate software on edge hardware platforms Troubleshoot performance, networking, database, and integration issues Support customer issue investigation and resolution Collaborate with software, hardware, QA, systems, and product teams Develop automated tests and improve CI/CD and release processes Deliver reliable, maintainable, production-quality software What you need
Required: Strong software architecture, concurrency, networking, and troubleshooting skills Required: Advanced Java and Spring Boot development experience Required: 8+ years of professional software development experience Required: Experience with real-time or near-real-time systems Required: TypeScript, REST API development, and relational databases Required: Git, SVN, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD, and automated testing experience Advantage: React and modern web application development Advantage: Lidar, geospatial technologies, Linux, embedded systems, or C++ experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field What we offer
