Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to develop and support an enterprise hardware asset management platform for infrastructure assets.

You will build solutions across the full technology stack, working with React, Java, PostgreSQL, workflow automation, CI/CD pipelines, and containerised platforms.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build secure backend services and REST APIs using Java.
  • Design and optimise PostgreSQL databases, queries, and data models.
  • Develop and maintain automated business workflows.
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Deploy and support applications on containerised platforms.
  • Contribute to architecture, security, performance, monitoring, and operational support.
  • Design integrations and data boundaries with enterprise service management systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and technical discussions.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly and ensure all code is reviewed, tested, and secure.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Strong commercial experience in enterprise software development.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience with automated testing and secure development practices.
  • Experience with workflow engines or business process automation.
  • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with containers, Kubernetes, or similar application platforms.
  • Understanding of application support, monitoring, performance, and security.
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Hardware, infrastructure, or IT asset management.
  • Infrastructure technologies such as servers, networks, storage, cloud, or data centres.
  • Kubernetes or comparable container orchestration platforms.
  • Responsible use of AI-assisted coding tools.
