Overview

As a Senior Full-stack Engineer on AVEVA’s Core AI Services, you design and scale cloud-native AI-enabled platform services that underpin AVEVA’s product portfolio. You’ll work in an agile team to deliver secure, reliable APIs, UIs, and SDKs for internal and partner use, shaping AI adoption across industrial software. You will translate cutting-edge AI engineering patterns into enterprise-ready software, balancing speed with quality. The role offers impact at scale, contributing to foundational services that enable enterprise AI in a global product ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure
  • Develop responsive web UIs and developer tools using Angular
  • Create secure, well-documented public APIs and SDKs for internal and external use
  • Own feature implementation from design to production with a focus on quality and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across data pipelines, orchestration layers, and service APIs
  • Embed security controls, identity management, and privacy-by-design practices
  • Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions to promote best practices
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers to foster continuous learning and innovation
Key requirements
  • 5–8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
  • Strong backend cloud-native development (.NET C# is a plus)
  • Experience with Angular and contemporary web frameworks
  • Hands-on with containerised deployments in Kubernetes
  • Deep understanding of RESTful API design, versioning, testing, and lifecycle management
  • Knowledge of API security (OAuth2, OIDC, RBAC) and data privacy practices
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and track record delivering scalable solutions
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments across distributed R&D locations
  • Proven ability to mentor colleagues and elevate code quality
