Senior Full Stack Java Developer work follows a hybrid schedule, combining onsite delivery three days weekly with two days from home.

This senior assignment supports large, complex, legacy applications using Java, J2EE, Jakarta, WebSphere, and Tomcat. The work spans sustenance analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, security, databases, reporting, and DevOps updates. Public sector health experience is relevant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze impacts across interfaces, middleware, databases, reporting, and security
  • Document and validate technical design changes across system components
  • Implement and unit test application, database, reporting, and security changes
  • Promote solutions, support integrated testing, and resolve identified issues
  • Update DevOps repositories, documentation, release lists, and deployment packages

Requirements:

  • 10+ years supporting large, complex legacy applications
  • 10+ years experience with Java, J2EE, Jakarta, Oracle DB, and MySQL
  • Experience with WebSphere, Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, and JPA
  • Experience with security, authentication, authorization, and Agile Scrum
  • Critical thinking, communication, consulting, and problem-solving skills
