Senior Full Stack Java iOS Engineer

Build reliable applications at Sun Life using full-stack Java, Spring, React, and native iOS development in a hybrid work model. Support web, mobile, API, and middleware layers across the application lifecycle.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop and support applications within Sun Life’s e-Business team and Application Operations Support. The work combines core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, React, JavaScript, APIs, and native iOS development. You will collaborate with Software Engineers, Business Systems Analysts, and other partners to deliver quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, test, and support full-stack Java applications
• Develop and support native iOS applications
• Troubleshoot incidents and restore service across environments
• Perform root-cause analysis and remediate vulnerabilities
• Contribute to monitoring, upgrades, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• At least 10 years developing enterprise back-end Java applications
• Strong knowledge of core Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot
• At least 4 years using React and JavaScript
• At least 2 years supporting native iOS applications
• Experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, databases, and application servers
