Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

In this role you will own the development of customer-facing software for a growing energy-sector platform. You will work across frontend and backend, delivering scalable products that turn complex energy data into intuitive experiences. You’ll have significant autonomy to shape architecture, standards, and delivery while collaborating with product, data, leadership, and external partners. The opportunity combines technical leadership with hands-on delivery in a high-impact, evolving environment.

• Lead the development of customer-facing products from concept to production
• Build modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript
• Design and develop backend services, APIs, integrations, and business logic
• Work with Python, SQL, databases, and data platforms
• Own architecture, technical decisions, and engineering standards
• Transform complex energy and operational data into clear product experiences
• Collaborate with product, data, leadership, and external partners
• Create a scalable, maintainable codebase from the ground up
• Help shape the future engineering team and technical direction

• Strong commercial experience across frontend and backend
• Excellent React and TypeScript capability
• Strong backend experience, ideally Python
• Experience with APIs, databases, SQL, and system integrations
• Track record of leading projects or major technical workstreams
• Experience building customer-facing software from scratch
• Strong product instincts and ability to think beyond individual tickets
• Confidence making technical decisions with autonomy
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
