Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Build internal applications at Cohere using TypeScript, React, Python, and Next.js in a remote-friendly engineering environment. Create tools supporting frontier AI model development.

As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will craft browser and server experiences for user-facing products. You will collaborate with annotators, ML researchers, product managers, and engineering colleagues. The work supports internal tooling for large language model development and mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft code for browsers and servers
• Build resilient, mission-critical internal systems
• Collaborate through pairing, designs, documentation, and talks
• Remove roadblocks affecting engineering velocity
• Adopt technologies improving performance and reliability

Requirements:

• Experience shipping products with many stakeholders
• Front-end and back-end experience with Next.js, TypeScript, React, and Python
• Hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Interest in AI and scaling a company
