Senior Fullstack Engineer, Scale

In this role you will help build and scale Airwallex’s embedded finance platform for global customers. You will work within the Scale Platform Engineering team to design multi-tenant infrastructure and APIs that meet enterprise SLAs, latency, and throughput targets. You’ll tackle cross-domain features requiring collaboration across product, design, compliance, and sales, shaping how businesses embed finance at scale. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role with opportunities to influence architecture and delivery in a fast-growing fintech company.

• Architect and maintain multi-tenant infrastructure powering enterprise customers
• Own cross-domain product features that span regulatory, tax, and monetization considerations
• Design integrations and technical solutions for enterprise prospects to influence deals
• Deliver high-quality, scalable, and production-ready software with strong abstraction and maintainability
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Compliance, and Sales to align technical decisions with business goals
• Balance performance optimization with delivery velocity based on business impact

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in ReactJS & TypeScript
• Strong ability to abstract system and component design for flexibility and simplicity
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Pragmatic decision-making prioritizing performance vs velocity
• Experience in cross-functional environments spanning Product, Design, Compliance, and Sales
