Job Description

IFS Copperleaf ’s software helps some of the world’s largest energy firms make better strategic decisions.

We’re looking for a proactive Senior Functional Consultant to join IFS Copperleaf , as we continue to enable our clients to build more resilient and sustainable infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role working directly with our customers; you will have consultancy experience ideally in projects related to either asset management, analytics or software development and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key client interface for large and complex implementations, understanding and articulating requirements, and leveraging internal teams to implement innovative and elegant solutions


• Collaborate with customers and partners at customer sites across North America


• Own the end-to-end process with clients from scoping requirements through customization, integration and user training


• Travel approximately 25–40% of your time to work with clients across the North America region

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consulting experience in one or more of the following areas


• Customer-facing consulting skills: able to influence, advise, mediate, and manage scope


• Experience driving internal and external teams to achieve project milestones over a 3-month to 1-year rollout


• Experience with software deployment technologies, networks, and databases


• Technical skills aligned with an understanding of business processes


• Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of operational research techniques (e.g., simulation, optimization, cost-benefit analysis)


• Technical degree in Engineering or a related field


• Enjoy the consulting lifestyle—travel, working in different cities, meeting large organizations, and addressing diverse challenges


• Experience with large industrial organizations in the region (utilities, oil & gas, transport/rail, etc.)

Additional Information

• Pay Range: CAD 95,000–108,000 + bonus
