Overview

In this role, you will implement and evolve FX trading systems within Citi’s FX Trading Technology group. You will collaborate across teams to design architecture, improve delivery quality, and maintain thorough documentation. You will engage with traders and quants to deliver scalable, low-latency solutions that support Citi’s leading FX business. This is a hands-on engineering position in a high-performance, globally distributed tech environment with a strong emphasis on best practices and clear communication.

Responsibilities
  • Implement FX trading system solutions with cross-team collaboration
  • Drive design and development of system architecture and improve deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with Citi policies and maintain comprehensive documentation
  • Contribute to best practices, transparency, and consistency across teams
  • Collaborate directly with trading and quantitative teams
Key requirements
  • Understanding of FX (highly preferred)
  • Experience with ultra low-latency development practices
  • Track record of building new systems or replacing legacy ones
  • Knowledge of systems (software, hardware, networks) to define solutions
  • Excellent communicator able to engage from team to enterprise level
  • Hands-on engineer capable of deep product/codebase analysis
