Senior FX eTrading Developer - VP - London

In this role you will implement and evolve FX trading systems within Citi's FX Technology team. You will collaborate across trading and quant groups to deliver low-latency, robust solutions that support the firm’s leading FX business. You’ll drive architecture decisions, ensure high-quality deliverables, and maintain governance and documentation. The opportunity combines hands-on engineering with cross-functional impact in a high-performance, globally distributed environment.

• Hands-on technical implementation of FX trading systems
• Collaborate with FX Trading Technology teams to implement business-value solutions
• Drive design and development of system architecture; engage with end-users; improve deliverables quality
• Ensure policy adherence and maintain documentation for filings and procedures
• Contribute to defining/best practices and processes; promote transparency and consistency across teams
• Work directly with trading and quant teams

• Proven understanding of FX highly preferred
• Understanding of ultra low-latency development practices
• Proven track record of building new systems, replacing legacy systems and renovating existing systems
• Systems (software, hardware, networks) knowledge to define solutions and troubleshoot
• Exceptional communicator who loves working with people; confident communicating at all levels
• Hands-on engineer capable of deep-diving into a product/codebase and providing constructive feedback
• Awareness of industry trends and leveraging new technologies as appropriate
