This Senior GCP Data Engineer role requires five years of data engineering experience or similar. You will work with BigQuery, other GCP data services, SQL, Python, and data warehousing principles. DBT knowledge supports transformation and modeling work when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain scalable GCP data pipelines using BigQuery
  • Write optimized SQL for extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Implement reliable, scalable data warehousing solutions
  • Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data quality issues
  • Automate workflows using Python scripts where necessary

Requirements:

  • Five years of data engineering or similar experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
  • Strong SQL and hands-on BigQuery expertise
  • Understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices
  • Basic to intermediate Python proficiency for automation
