Senior Generative AI Model Validation Scientist

Lead Generative AI model validation in Montréal with expertise in LLMs, NLP, Deep Learning, and independent model review.

TD’s AI Model Validation group is seeking a senior scientist to lead validation of complex enterprise AI models. The position oversees Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLM, NLP, and Deep Learning reviews. You will guide scientists, develop validation standards, support regulatory reviews, and communicate findings across technical and non-technical groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead GenAI, Agentic, and LLM evaluation research
• Direct scientists validating complex AI models
• Recommend model approvals or corrective actions
• Develop compliant validation standards and procedures
• Communicate findings to stakeholders and regulators

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in quantitative or AI discipline
• 4+ years developing or validating advanced AI models
• 2+ years leading machine learning scientists
• Knowledge of RAG, Transformers, PyTorch, and Python
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
