Senior GIS Software Developer Toronto

Apply advanced GIS development expertise in a hybrid Senior Software Developer role, using ArcGIS and ESRI technologies from Toronto. Work three office days and two remotely.

This senior position focuses on geospatial applications, production systems, and software development practices. You will develop specifications, support ArcGIS solutions, and troubleshoot technical issues. Collaboration, documentation, SQL, and stakeholder communication are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop geospatial application program and code specifications
• Maintain production system performance and availability
• Collaborate with IT professionals and cross-functional teams
• Troubleshoot geospatial software packages during implementations and migrations
• Transfer technical and business knowledge to LRC staff

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of GIS software development experience
• Hands-on experience with ESRI and ArcObject COM
• Experience developing applications using the ArcGIS platform
• Knowledge of Oracle customization and SQL
