Senior Global Risk Technology Manager

Lead Global Risk Technology transformation at Manulife in hybrid Toronto, applying AI-enabled governance and enterprise delivery expertise.

This senior project management role delivers strategic initiatives across Group Functions Technology. You will coordinate technology delivery, risk governance, business transformation, and strategic investments. The position partners with executives, product owners, architects, Data & AI teams, control functions, and external partners across North America and Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex Global Risk Technology and AI-enabled transformation initiatives
• Translate priorities into roadmaps, plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes
• Manage scope, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, and benefits
• Lead governance forums, steering committees, and executive communications
• Coordinate vendors, funding approvals, closeout, and benefits tracking

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years managing large-scale technology or transformation initiatives
• 5-7+ years in financial services or another regulated industry
• Strong financial, governance, risk, compliance, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, hybrid methods, and project tools
