Senior Go Distributed Systems Engineer

Build reliable cloud systems with Go at Grafana Cloud, working remotely across distributed telemetry databases and Kubernetes infrastructure. Shape products used for observability.

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems. You will work with Mimir, Loki, Tempo, and Pyroscope across Grafana Cloud and on-premise solutions. The work includes distributed systems, cloud services, Kubernetes, and open-source observability projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain reliable, performant, available critical systems
• Deliver features from ideation through customer operations
• Participate in on-call rotations and own operated services
• Contribute to open-source projects beyond team scope
• Mentor colleagues and participate in design discussions

Requirements:

• Experience developing software running in the Cloud
• Experience delivering projects from requirements through customer release
• Strong skills writing clean, robust, performant maintainable software
• Solid experience with Go or another programming language
• Experience with Kubernetes and distributed systems or microservices
