Senior Go Endpoint Security Leader

Lead Go-based endpoint security software across architecture, reliability, and secure delivery within a remote North American team. Guide complex work independently.

The Software Technical Leader is a senior individual-contributor role at Cisco. You will set technical direction for Orbital endpoint software and deliver customer-facing changes across endpoint systems and cloud services. The work spans operating-system integration, release readiness, security, performance, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define architecture and technical direction for Orbital endpoint software
• Lead initiatives across platforms, installers, packaging, and upgrades
• Improve standards for testing, security, releases, and supportability
• Investigate complex endpoint compatibility and performance issues
• Mentor engineers and influence decisions without direct authority

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree plus twelve related years, or equivalent experience
• Production software development and delivery experience
• Technical leadership experience in Go or comparable systems languages
• Endpoint agent experience for Windows, macOS, or Linux preferred
• Production compatibility, reliability, or security issue experience preferred
