Overview
As a Senior Golang Engineer in a fast-growing fintech, you will design and maintain scalable Go backends powering consumer and business services. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and operations in a regulated environment to ship high-quality, secure software. You’ll influence architectural decisions, tackle performance and reliability challenges, and codify engineering standards as the team scales. This role offers equity and direct access to leadership in a flat, fast-moving culture where reliability and security matter.
Pay / Benefits- base salary 90,000–110,000

- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in Go
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to deliver high-quality software
- Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering standards as the team grows
- Identify performance bottlenecks, reliability concerns, and technical debt
- Promote code quality through reviews and documentation
- Work in a regulated environment ensuring compliance and security requirements
- Strong backend experience with hands-on Go exposure (primary language; Python background considered if Go experience is practical)
- Solid understanding of microservices and REST and/or gRPC API design
- Experience with AWS and Docker-based environments
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and event-driven systems
- Collaborative, low-ego, autonomous in a small team
- Experience or exposure to regulated fintech domains is a plus but not required
