Responsibilities

  • Design graph models and ontologies for complex business data.
  • Build and run production graphs on AWS Neptune or Neo4j.
  • Develop batch and streaming pipelines to ingest graph data.
  • Write and optimize Cypher, Gremlin, or SPARQL queries.
  • Integrate graphs with LLMs for GraphRAG and semantic search.
  • Mentor engineers and set graph engineering standards.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 12-15 years of experience in data engineering, including 3+ years with production graphs
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS Neptune or Neo4j.
  • Strong Python or Java, and experience with AWS data services.
  • Experience with Spark, Kafka, or Airflow, plus infrastructure as code.


Nice to have

  • RDF/OWL, graph algorithms, LangChain, or vector databases. xhqgsiq
  • AWS or Neo4j certifications.
