Senior Growth Data Scientist AI

Shape Asana’s AI growth strategy in Vancouver through experimentation, causal inference, and machine learning. Work office-centric hybrid on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will inform strategy for agentic work management products. Partner with Product Managers, User Researchers, and Engineers to understand customer segments and engagement levers. Use data storytelling, experimentation, and statistical methods to guide product decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define data frameworks for agentic work management customers
• Lead data strategy for specific AI features
• Identify roadmap opportunities through analysis and storytelling
• Design experiments and own key performance metrics
• Share data science best practices across teams

Requirements:

• Four to six years of data science experience
• Growth experience, primarily within B2B SaaS companies
• Experience with AI/ML products, LLM APIs, or integrations
• Strong experimentation, A/B testing, and pipeline management skills
• Expertise in SQL, relational modeling, and R, Python, or Scala
