Senior Hardware Engineer

In this senior role, you provide technical leadership for a team of engineers at a company delivering bespoke and broad electronics products. You will shape hardware design across high-speed digital and related areas, guiding the full lifecycle from concept to manufacturing. You collaborate with software, mechanical, and test teams to deliver multidisciplinary solutions that meet client needs. • Provide technical authority and mentorship across the electronics design team
• Advise on optimal hardware solutions for high-speed digital, analogue, power electronics, RF, and FPGA domains
• Support full electronics design lifecycle from concept to manufacturing in a multidisciplinary environment
• Assist with component selection and PCB layout decisions to ensure robust, scalable designs
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, test, and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated products

• Senior hardware experience with 10+ years in the sector
• High-speed digital design expertise (essential)
• Experience in analogue, power electronics, RF, FPGA, and embedded software is highly beneficial
• Experience advising and coaching electronics engineers
• Proficiency in Altium
• Component selection
• Understanding PCB layout
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams across the full design lifecycle
