Senior Healthcare Software Developer

Design secure healthcare applications with Epic, HL7, FHIR, and REST expertise in this hybrid Senior Software Developer position in Scarborough.

ENHANCE Ontario seeks a senior developer supporting seven member hospitals across 14 sites. You will architect web applications, build integrations, and guide technical delivery. The work supports shared Epic Clinical Information System services for Central East Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead secure, scalable web application architecture for clinical needs
• Build Epic integrations using HL7, FHIR, and RESTful APIs
• Set technical direction and guide project solution design
• Mentor developers through code reviews and coaching
• Resolve complex production performance and reliability issues

Requirements:

• Five or more years of software development experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Advanced JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, React or Vue skills
• Database experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Epic certification and healthcare data standards experience
