Overview

As Senior HPC Engineer at a leading genetic research institute, you will shape HPC, cloud, and data storage strategies to enable cutting-edge genetic science. You’ll lead data platform design and delivery, working with cross-functional teams to support scientific workflows. You mentor junior engineers and integrate tools and information management systems for researchers. This role combines hands-on architecture with team leadership to accelerate discoveries at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of state-of-the-art research data platforms
  • Mentor and inspire junior team members
  • Collaborate with ITO teams to align infrastructure with research needs
  • Integrate tools and information management systems for scientific workflows
  • Drive adoption of advanced storage and cloud solutions
