Senior HPC Linux DevOps Engineer

Support Solidigm’s Vancouver datacenter as a Senior HPC Linux DevOps Engineer specializing in SLURM administration and infrastructure automation. This on-site contract-to-hire engagement serves HPC and EDA infrastructure.

Working within the IT Datacenter organization, you will independently support Linux HPC environments with minimal ramp-up. The role combines SLURM workload management, Ansible automation, datacenter migrations, enterprise identity integration, and operational documentation. You will coordinate platform changes across EDA/SPE, storage, and IDAM teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer SLURM-based HPC compute environments and configure partitions
• Execute HPC and EDA compute and storage migrations
• Develop Ansible playbooks for Linux platform configuration
• Integrate enterprise identity systems across Linux and HPC environments
• Author MOPs, runbooks, diagrams, and implementation guides

Requirements:

• Five-plus years in DevOps, platform engineering, or Linux systems engineering
• Hands-on HPC cluster administration with SLURM or equivalent
• Experience supporting EDA or scientific computing environments
• Strong production-grade Ansible playbook and role development
• Experience planning infrastructure migrations with minimal disruption
