Senior Humanoid Robotics Engineer

Lead humanoid robotics prototyping at Humanoid in Vancouver, combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership across complex electromechanical systems.

As Senior Prototype Engineer, you will develop, assemble, integrate, commission, and validate robotic hands, arms, end-effectors, actuators, and sensors. You will guide engineers and technicians, establish workflows, and collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Embedded Software, and Controls teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex robotic prototype development from build through validation
• Direct engineers and technicians while resolving technical challenges
• Integrate, calibrate, and optimize actuators, encoders, and sensors
• Drive troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and design iteration
• Establish assembly, testing, and validation procedures

Requirements:

• 10+ years in robotics prototyping or electromechanical integration
• 5+ years directing technician groups in research and development
• Strong experience building and troubleshooting robotic systems
• Degree in robotics, mechatronics, engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience mentoring teams and coordinating technical execution
