Senior Hydrogeologist Technical Lead

Lead hydrogeological investigations and groundwater teams at Stantec, with hybrid work based in Burnaby or Victoria, British Columbia. Apply strong technical expertise daily.

Stantec seeks an experienced Hydrogeologist to provide technical leadership within its Water Resources Group. You will mentor hydrogeologists and scientists while delivering complex assessments and studies. The work spans groundwater characterization, mine water management, environmental assessments, permitting, water supply development, and closure planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor hydrogeologists and scientists
• Oversee drilling, well installations, monitoring, and hydraulic testing
• Develop conceptual hydrogeological models
• Provide technical oversight and quality review
• Coordinate workload planning and project delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in hydrogeology, geoscience, or related discipline
• Approximately 7–10 years of relevant experience
• Professional registration as a P.Geo. or P.Eng. in British Columbia
• Experience with GIS and geospatial analysis tools
• Willingness to travel for Canadian field investigations
