Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior IBM IIB/ACE Developer to design, develop, test, and implement enterprise integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) . The successful candidate will work closely with application, architecture, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable integration services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support integration solutions using IBM IIB/WMB and ACE .
  • Develop integration flows using ESQL, Java, XML, REST, MQ, JDBC, and related technologies .
  • Design and implement integration patterns aligned with enterprise architecture and development standards.
  • Prepare high-level and detailed technical specifications for small to medium-sized initiatives.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust integration solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions.
  • Identify technical risks and dependencies and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD, automated builds, and deployments .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration and middleware issues and provide timely resolution.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of application development experience , with strong experience in enterprise integration.
  • Hands-on expertise in IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) .
  • Strong proficiency in ESQL, Java, XML, and integration flow development .
  • Experience with IBM MQ and enterprise messaging/integration patterns.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, JDBC, JCA, and connector-based architectures .
  • Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Agile, and DevOps practices .
  • Experience working with Linux, AIX, and Windows environments.
  • Strong knowledge of DB2 and SQL databases .
  • Experience with UML, technical documentation, and component-based design .
  • Exposure to Spring Boot, PCF, OpenShift, cloud integration platforms, and IBM ODM .
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Good to Have

  • Experience with Kafka and NiFi .
  • Knowledge of Groovy, Python, Maven, or Elastic Stack .
  • Experience with PingFederate, Active Directory, and federated authentication .
  • Familiarity with Nexus and IBM UrbanCode Deploy .
  • Experience with automated testing and unit testing frameworks .
  • Experience supporting applications in large enterprise or financial-services environments .


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
