Senior IFRS Financial Analyst

Apply IFRS expertise and advanced Excel skills as a Senior Financial Analyst in Winnipeg, Manitoba, supporting accurate corporate reporting and close activities.

Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Accounting, Consolidation & Reporting, this senior role delivers financial analysis and technical accounting guidance. You will perform variance analysis, prepare IFRS position papers, support consolidation, and partner with FP&A and operational leaders. The work also covers internal controls, reporting efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and quarter-end financial statement variance analysis
• Draft technical accounting position papers under IFRS standards
• Support period-end close, consolidations, accruals, and intercompany eliminations
• Maintain Financial Data Model and general ledger structures
• Own designated internal controls and auditor documentation

Requirements:

• CPA designation and undergraduate accounting or finance degree
• Four or more years of progressive corporate accounting experience
• Working knowledge and application of IFRS accounting standards
• Advanced Excel proficiency and strong variance analysis skills
• Ability to sit long periods and use computers extensively
