Senior Information Manager

In this Senior Information Manager role, you will lead governance and delivery of information management across programmes, ensuring compliance with ISO 19650, GDPR and other standards. You will oversee CDEs, digital platforms, and data governance to maximise information as a strategic asset. You will mentor teams, engage senior stakeholders, and drive data‑driven, secure delivery. This role supports AECOM's mission by enabling digital delivery across large infrastructure projects and delivering measurable value.

- Define and implement enterprise-level information management strategies aligned to objectives
- Establish IM policies, standards, and procedures in line with ISO 19650
- Oversee end-to-end information lifecycle management
- Lead configuration, administration, and optimisation of CDEs and digital platforms
- Govern access controls, workflows, and metadata schemas
- Lead, mentor and develop Information Management teams
- Engage with senior stakeholders to align IM risks and opportunities
- Monitor IM performance and compliance against KPIs
- Deliver assurance reporting to governance boards and leadership
- Drive organisational change and adoption of digital and data-led processes
- Strong knowledge of data modelling, metadata, and ISO 19650 alignment
- Ability to define data architectures enabling interoperability across CDEs, BIM, and enterprise systems
- Basic understanding of Power BI and data visualization
- Awareness of AI and machine learning applications in IM
- Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, SharePoint) supporting secure IM
- Proven experience implementing governance frameworks and managing information risk
- Soft skills: leadership, stakeholder influence, communication, change management
