Overview
As Senior Information Manager, you will lead compliant information management across programmes, turning information into a strategic asset to enable digital delivery. You’ll establish governance aligned with ISO standards, manage CDEs, and drive continuous improvement. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to safeguard client reputation and support informed decision-making. - Define and implement enterprise-level information management strategies aligned to client objectives
- Maintain IM policies and procedures in line with ISO 19650 and governance frameworks
- Oversee end-to-end information lifecycle management (creation, classification, storage, retrieval, retention, disposal)
- Lead configuration, administration, and optimisation of digital platforms including CDEs, Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online, and BIM tools
- Lead, mentor, and develop IM and Document Control teams; allocate resources by project priorities
- Engage with senior stakeholders on IM risks, strategy, and opportunities; drive change management and training
- Monitor IM performance and compliance; produce governance-facing reports and improvement plans
- Strong data modelling and information structure skills aligned to ISO 19650
- Ability to design data architectures enabling interoperability across CDEs, BIM, and enterprise systems
- Basic Power BI and data visualisation knowledge
- Awareness of AI/ML applications for automation and analytics
- Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, SharePoint) supporting secure IM
- Deep understanding of ISO 19650, information governance, and information security standards (ISO 27001)
- Proven experience implementing governance frameworks and managing information risk
- Minimum 8+ years in Information Management, Digital Delivery, or Data Governance in built environment or infrastructure
- Degree in Engineering, Information Management, Data Science, or related discipline
- Senior-level certifications such as GKIM Level 6, M365/Azure, ISO 19650 Practitioner desirable
- SC Security Clearance or ability to obtain
- Strong leadership and people management
